Terms & Conditions
These terms describe the conditions for using Cryptgreg Research and the limits of our services. Please read them before using an account, app, or experimental feature.
Effective date: 10 October 2026 · Contact: info@cryptgregresearch.org
1. Scope and agreement
“Cryptgreg Research”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to the operator providing services under the Cryptgreg Research name. “Services” means cryptgregresearch.org, our operated subdomains, APIs, research, simulations, and Android apps, including Friendly and Spend Wise, where these terms are made available. Independently operated services linked from our site have their own terms.
Where we present these terms for agreement, you must agree before using the relevant service. If you do not agree, do not use that service. A footer link alone does not record your consent. Additional terms expressly presented for a particular service or purchase apply to that service; mandatory law and applicable app-store purchase rules take precedence over conflicting provisions.
You must have legal capacity to agree, or permission and supervision from a parent or guardian where required by law. An app-store age rating does not establish contractual capacity. If acting for an organisation, you must be authorised to bind it.
2. Permitted use and accounts
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Services for lawful purposes, subject to these terms and any separately stated licence. Keep account details accurate and authentication credentials secure. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
Do not use the Services to break the law, infringe rights, harass others, distribute malware, access another person’s data without authority, bypass access controls, or disrupt systems. Automated use must respect published access rules and reasonable rate limits. These restrictions do not prohibit activities that applicable law expressly permits.
3. Research, simulations, and public records
Research, datasets, project statuses, and simulations are provided for information and experimentation. Records may be incomplete, delayed, illustrative, historical, or unverified. A fixture, simulation balance, virtual reward, or example is not evidence of a real asset, ownership right, promised return, or payment entitlement. Check the record’s date, limitations, and original source before relying on it.
Submit only information you are authorised to share. Where a feature identifies submissions as public, your submissions may appear in public research records. Review the feature’s notice and our Privacy Policy before submitting personal or confidential information.
4. Friendly and AI-assisted features
Friendly and other AI-assisted features can produce inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or unsuitable responses. Outputs are not guaranteed to be unique or correct. Independently check important facts, generated code, summaries, and recommendations before using them.
AI responses are not a substitute for qualified medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice and must not be your sole basis for a decision affecting health, safety, money, or legal rights. The Services are not emergency services.
If you connect tools or permit actions, grant only permissions you intend to provide and review consequential actions before authorising them. You remain responsible for your instructions and authorised actions; this does not excuse our own legal obligations. Third-party model and tool providers may impose additional terms.
5. Spend Wise and financial tools
Spend Wise, CryptGreg Finance, calculators, portfolio views, and blockchain dashboards support record keeping, education, and scenario planning. They do not provide personalised investment, tax, accounting, lending, or financial advice, and do not create an adviser-client, fiduciary, brokerage, or banking relationship.
Calculations depend on your inputs and assumptions. Projections, exchange rates, balances, repayment estimates, and imported records may contain errors or become outdated. They do not guarantee savings, returns, debt repayment dates, tax outcomes, or asset values. Reconcile figures against official statements and consult a qualified professional when appropriate. You remain responsible for payments, filings, and financial decisions.
6. Early Access and closed testing
Early Access and closed-testing versions are experimental. They may contain defects, lose or reset data, change features, require updates, or become unavailable. Testing access is by invitation and does not promise public release, continued access, compatibility, or a particular development schedule.
Keep independent backups and avoid using a test version as the only record of important information. Where reasonably practicable, we will notify users of significant service changes. Any paid commitments and mandatory consumer remedies remain subject to applicable law.
7. Third-party services and purchases
Hosting, authentication, AI models, external websites, stores, and connected tools may be supplied by third parties. Their availability and policies are outside our direct control. A link is not a guarantee or endorsement of third-party content. We remain responsible for obligations that applicable law places on us.
If a paid feature or subscription is offered, its price, billing period, renewal conditions, and cancellation process must be disclosed before purchase. Purchases made through Google Play are also subject to its applicable billing, cancellation, and refund rules. Nothing here imposes a blanket no-refund policy or removes statutory refund rights.
8. Your content and our intellectual property
You retain rights you hold in content you provide. You grant us only the permissions reasonably necessary to process, store, and display that content to deliver the features you request, subject to our Privacy Policy and any public-submission notice. Providing feedback permits us to use that feedback to improve the Services without an obligation to compensate you; it does not transfer ownership of unrelated content.
Our software, branding, and original materials remain owned by us or their licensors. Open-source code and datasets carrying a separate licence are governed by that licence. No provision here overrides permissions granted by such a licence or by law.
9. Availability and warranties
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, error-free results, absolute security, compatibility with every device, or suitability for a particular purpose. We exclude implied warranties only where the law permits their exclusion.
These qualifications do not override express commitments we make to you or statutory requirements concerning quality, reasonable care and skill, fitness for purpose, security, or other non-excludable obligations.
10. Limitations of liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability, consumer guarantee, or remedy that applicable law does not allow us to exclude or limit.
Subject to that protection, and only to the extent permitted and reasonable under applicable law, Cryptgreg Research and its operator, personnel, and contributors are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, business opportunities, anticipated savings, or business interruption arising from use of the Services.
Subject to the same protection, our total aggregate liability arising from the relevant Service is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us for that Service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or US$100 (or its equivalent in your local currency). This cap does not apply where it would be unlawful or an unfair contract term, and it does not reduce a mandatory statutory remedy.
You must take reasonable steps to avoid or reduce loss, including checking important outputs and keeping backups. This obligation does not transfer responsibility for our own acts or omissions to you. If a limitation is unenforceable, liability is determined under applicable law rather than an automatic exclusion of your claim.
11. Suspension and ending use
You may stop using the Services at any time. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address a material breach, abuse, security risk, or legal requirement. Where practicable and appropriate, we will give notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue. We may discontinue a Service, subject to paid commitments, required notice, and applicable law.
Account deletion, data requests, and privacy choices are explained in the Privacy Policy. Ending access does not cancel rights or obligations that accrued beforehand.
12. Changes, disputes, and general terms
We may update these terms prospectively. The effective date identifies the current version. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes through the relevant Service and obtain renewed agreement where required. Changes do not retrospectively remove accrued rights.
If a dispute arises, contact info@cryptgregresearch.org so we can try to resolve it. This does not prevent you from contacting a regulator, consumer tribunal, or court, or require you to delay an urgent claim. Applicable law determines governing law and jurisdiction; these terms do not require compulsory arbitration or waive any mandatory consumer forum or collective remedy.
If a provision is invalid, the remaining provisions continue to apply where lawful. A failure to enforce a provision immediately is not a waiver. These terms and any additional terms you expressly accept govern the relevant Services, subject always to mandatory law.
